REGIONAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

REGIONAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER JOB DESCRIPTION Based in our EMEA headquarter offices in Carpi, Modena (Italy) we’re looking for a Financial Controller to join the Central finance team to play a meaningful role in developing and driving the end-to-end financial processes of one of the most relevant legal entity’s which is running the Champion business in an important region. The candidate assumes the responsibility to manage and coordinate the Finance function and leading a dedicated team for the entity and branches of the region. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage a team of 3 resources in charge of the day-to-day financial operations (AR, AP, GL). - Be the main point of reference of the entity commercial team and of the country manager; - Partner with Sales & Operations to provide valuable commercial insights and to foster business activities along the Order-to-Cash process. - Ensure accurate & timely monthly US GAAP Management Reporting submission. - Support both the business and the Corporate Finance Team for the preparation of the yearly budget and quarterly forecasts. - Partner with Corporate Treasury for the preparation and review of the weekly / monthly / quarterly cash flows and banking transactions. - Support the Corporate Tax team for direct and indirect tax compliance. - Prepare the local statutory financial statements, coordinating and supporting the activities of external auditors. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or similar. - English Fluent - 5 years of relevant work experience as financial controller in international businesses operating in EMEA - Strong analytical skills - Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point. - Previous experience in the FMCG or Fashion industry to be considered as a plus. - Knowledge of Business French and SAP are considered as a plus.
